Portable Digital Endoscopy
Endoscopy is a procedure used to examine the upper respiratory tract, larynx (voice box), pharynx, guttural pouches (air spaces in the head connecting the ear to the throat) and sinuses. These are the most common areas of interest. This technique may also be used to examine the bladder and oesophagus and also to take colon biopsies.
This system is one of a handful currently present in the UK and utilised in some of the worlds most prominent equine veterinary facilities.
